Within the Realm….

For the past couple of years, I’ve been nurturing the idea that I would quite like to create a little website that I could call my own. I didn’t particularly want to produce something that would change the world - I just wanted a place where I could publish my thoughts about things that interested me. Now, finally, after a lot of procrastination and dithering on my part, I’ve turned this idea into reality… and here it is!!

As you can see, it comes in the form of a blog, which seems to provide the best format for what I’m interested in doing. I have to admit that I don’t have any great knowledge of things like HTML and CSS, and so I’m using something called Wordpress to handle all of the administrative work for it. Hopefully this will mean that I can just concentrate on writing material without having to worry about how I’m going to get it to appear! The downside to this, though, is that, at the moment, it just looks like any other generic Wordpress blog, although I do intend having a go at trying to customise it’s appearance at some point in the near future - even if this does mean having to learn about formatting languages!

I have to say that I’m quite proud of the fact that I’ve actually managed to get this up and running. Now all I need to do is to think of something to write about…
